Steven D. Carby offers a wealth of experience to the legal community. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Finance from The University of South Florida School of Business before obtaining his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Carby is a former Assistant City Prosecutor for Shreveport, as well as a former special assistant District Attorney for the 1st Judicial Court. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Michigan State Bar Association, Louisiana Trial
Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and the Shreveport Bar Association. Carby is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Apart from his business affiliations, Carby resides on the board of directors for the Leonard and Betty Phillips Deaf Action Center of Louisiana. He is also married to wife, Melissa, and is the proud father of two, Blake and Bennett.
